Napa, a beautiful city that needs no introduction will be hosting its Tenth Season of Napa Valley Festival del Sole on July 18th!

From 11am to 2:30pm the streets will be filled with restaurants, craft breweries, and artisan food producers. This is a great event for locals as well as newbies to beautiful wine country and will enable all in attendance a 'taste' of Napa.

Convenient and centrally located at 500 First Street, the Napa Valley Festival del Sole will allow ticket holders to watch top chefs from Napa and San Francisco battle it out in the "Town & Country Cookoff", while the Reserve Tasting Lounge offers the chance to fully indulge by tasting top-tier wines. "The Town & Country Cookoff" will be emceed by Spencer Christian of KGO-TV and will feature  Chefs Mark Dommen - One Market, Esteban Escobar - Town Hall, Lucas Knox - Burritt Room + Tavern from San Francisco versus Napa Valley's own Chef Chad Hendrickson - Hess Winery, Nick Ritchie - Atlas Social and April Cordsen - Morimoto Napa competing in an Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert culinary clash.

Keeping score of the cook off, which will be 20-minute rounds using only 10 ingredients, will be culinary author and Emmy Award winner Susie Heller, Top Chef Tiffany Derry, and San Francisco Chronicle's Kitty Morgan. Together they will provide a cumulative score to determine the winning team. 

More than 50 wineries and 30 restaurants and food artisans will come together to offer the discerning gastronome the very best the region's artisans have to offer. The Reserve Lounge offers an unprecedented list of fine wines for the connoisseur-at-heart from such exclusive labels such as:  Quintessa, Caymus, Cardinale, Darioush, Blackbird and more. Executive Chefs Scott Pikey of Mayacama and Britny Sundin of Signorello Estate will provide a meticulously designed bounty of delectables that pair perfectly with these sought-after wines. 

While taking in the decadent food and craft brews live music will take place in the amphitheater by Morris LeGrand, wine country guitarist.
