Recently everyone gathered at Tropicana at The Roosevelt Hotel to celebrate the release of Cody Simpsons latest album Free.

The poolside fete could not have been more perfect. Imagine top free trendsetters and music moguls in a beautiful  poolside oasis and in the center of it all was a stage where the face of Ralph Lauren's Denim and Supply's Fall 2015 campaign ,Cody, later performed tracks from the latest album. 

The vibe of the event was carefree, however, in the best possible way because that in a sense paid homage to his effortless set. The album Free, channels a new and exciting chapter that is showcased through this album. 

The event was attended by 500 guests that indulged in beverages provided by Wodka Vodka and Cisco Adler's House Beer. Guests  included: Alli Simpson, Cisco Adler, and Republic Records recording artist Who is Fancy. Celebrities, friends, and fans mingled with Cody, who was outfitted in Denim and Supply Ralph Lauren, as he performed “Free,” “New Girl, New Problems,” and a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog,” from his record that was also released Friday via Coast House/Banana Beat Records.  

In one word, simplicity,  would be the best way to describe this album. Listeners can tell Cody tapped into a sort of innocence with this album and delivers that with each and every guitar stroke. Free is a new side of Cody Simpson that has not be seen, but I am digging.
