What A Purrr-Fect Evening At The Catdance Film Festival

Adding the purr-fect touch to closing out Saturday night was "Catdance Film Festival",  a charity forward driven event to celebrate cats on screen. The event benefits the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Third Annual Catdance Film Festival was presented by Fresh Step® litter and hosted by actress and animal rights activist Nikki Reed. Fresh Step presented Catdance as part of its Million Meow Mission, a campaign to help shelters and rescues find more forever homes for cats. This year, the festival featured six original cat short films each starring cats that had been rescued or adopted at local shelters.

Being an animal lover herself, Reed was in attendance with high hopes to save the cats! The event showcased the best original feline short films, along with cat face paintings, cat ears, as well as other MEOW-velous activities.

In addition to introducing the films, Reed debuted the latest in feline bling to benefit the ASPCA®.  Striking a pose on the catwalk, Reed wore a paw-some ring designed by jewelry artist Ashley Berman of Ashley Morgan designs. The one-of-a kind cat-inspired dome ring is 14-karat gold with stunning sapphires and diamonds that make kitty’s face irresistible. Feline fashion lovers everywhere have the chance to get their paws on this custom ring, which is now on auction through Feb. 10 via FreshStep.com and will benefit the ASPCA®
