Finally, I Believe Chris Harrison - This Season of The Bachelorette IS The Most Dramatic Season Yet

For the first time in Bachelor history, I finally believe the words Chris Harrison is saying, “this is the most dramatic season yet!” The 16th season of the franchise has crowned Bachelor Nation favorite, Clare Crawley, as this seasons’ bachelorette and let’s just say she is doing things on her terms!

Clare Crawley is no stranger to the franchise. She was crowned a fan-favorite during her intense season with Juan Pablo. She also was part of Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor: Winter Games. Each of the seasons, she was true to herself and if she felt a strong spark – she honed in. Now that she is front and center, this season of the Bachelorette shows us just as we know her and that is being decisive.

The show, which typically films at the Bachelor mansion, had to change things up a bit this time around due to the pandemic. This year they took to the LaQuinta Resort near Palm Springs to tape this season, safely.

"There are good surprises. There is so much that happens that people don’t even know about and I just can't wait for everyone to watch and see, Crawley, 39, who is staying mum on her current relationship status, told PEOPLE in a previous interview. "I'm a woman who really listens to my gut, and it didn't lead me astray."

Surprises to say the least! Now we are three weeks into the show airing, and things are getting pretty dramatic, pretty quickly! "I know that people watching, people seeing this will judge or question a lot of things I do," she says. "But I had to follow my heart. And I'm definitely happy."

In the weeks to come the franchise will go through a lot of firsts, but I honestly wouldn’t expect anything other than that – it is 2020 afterall!
