John Cho and Debra Messing create magic on "the big screen" on the film, "Search," which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival last night!

Directed by Aneesh Chaganty the film engages with the audience by using contemporary storytelling and an interesting form of communication - the computer screen.

"I hope the audience midway through forgets they are watching a film that takes place on a computer screen and people get into the story," explains Cho.

The film is about a desperate father trying to find his 16-year-old daughter who goes missing and him breaking into her laptop to look for clues to find her. Search is a thriller that unfolds entirely on computer screens.

The compelling storyline, which is full of plot twists is remarkable, however it's also the genuine, charismatic performance put on by Cho that makes this film worth watching not to mention It's timely and relatable.

We were able to speak with Cho a little further on the importance of originality, creativity, and Sundance overall.

"Even though Sundance is a popular place to buy a film they're looking for originality and new voices. It's a really important American cultural event, CO explains. "There are workshops and help screenwriters and directors -it's an institute."

Furthermore he even shared some words of wisdom from hopefuls hoping to break into the business.

"If you're doing good work, I can't tell you if its one time or 10 times, at some point somebody will notice. Keep doing good work!"

The Audience Award: NEXT, Presented by Adobe was presented to: Search for the Sundance Film Festival.
