In just a short week many will be heading to the slopes for Sundance Film Festival! Taking place in Park City, Utah, Sundance Film Festival serves as the hub for films, television, celebrities, and media alike. From documentaries to short films, Sundance Film Festival is a time to celebrate the art of storytelling and film.

With a ton of events and films, finding time for it all can be very challenging. We've listed our top parties and events below!

Indie Lounge

Thursday, January 21 – Monday, January 25

Located in the heart of Main Street the Indie Lounge supports all artists. Presented by Jade Umbrella, Rok Drinks, Power & Industry, Pop Wrapped, and Maxim the #indielounge is a weekend full of events produced by Daniel Thompson.

Now in its 6th year the Indie Lounge is a place where film takes precedent."Guests love the intimate setting, and overall experience of the Indie Lounge," expresses Indie Lounge creator Daniel Thompson. "It's a hub where filmmakers, indie filmmakers, and key industry figures come together to collaborate on future possibilities -- there is nothing like it at Sundance."

This year the Indie Lounge introduces the 'Indie Lounge Screening Room' where films will be screened in addition to press junkets right below the lounge. The private, invite-only event will even play host to Don Cheadle and his round table discussion about filmmaking (which takes place on Saturday, January 23rd from 2:30PM - 3:30PM).

Each and every year the Indie Lounge continues to surprise its attendees by providing an interactive experience bigger and better than the previous. From gifting, q+a panels, to film, and music attendees will have a full experience. Guests will be able to learn about the hottest products on the market to date as well as llearn the 'power of storytelling' through film and music. One thing that makes the Indie Lounge such a must stop is the fact that it has proven true each and every year.

Stella Artois Filmmaker Lounge

At the Base of Village at the Lift

Located at the base of Village at the Lift guests can tuck into this hideaway. Stella will be serving drinks from day till 2a.m with a rotation of film parties over the weekend.

Samsung Studio:

Friday, January 22-January 26

638 Park Ave 11am-6pm

The Samsung Studio will serve as a hub for filmmakers, content developers, industry influencers and more to experience the world of film and content through the lens of the latest Samsung product that helps enable and empower storytelling - the new Gear VR powered by Oculus. Throughout the festival, a full roster of specialty programming will take place, including an inside look at the next installment of episodes of “GONE,” an original VR thriller from Skybound Entertainment, Wevr and Samsung; exclusive screenings, musical performances and Q&A’s with cast members and more. A Samsung Café, in partnership with Salt Lake’s very own The Rose Establishment, will be open every day to serve specialty coffee and a full cafe menu for all visitors.

Kia Supper Suite:

Kia Supper Suite is one of the top contenders at this years Sundance Film Festival. Taking over Cisero's Ristorante the first weekend of the festival, the invite-only event is coordinated by A-List Communications. Attendees can expect to see a few chosen films over the course of the weekend paired with top shelf sponsors Maestro Dobel Tequila and Johndrow Vineyards while enjoying delicious meals from new culinary partner Chef Steven Fretz of the LA hot spot Church Key.

For the 8th year in a row, Variety will host the Variety & Fandango Sundance Studio presented by Dockers from January 23rd to January 26th. Top talent expected to come by include: Casey Affleck, Don Cheadle, Anderson Cooper, Lena Dunham, Chelsea Handler, Armie Hammer, Nick Jonas, John Krasinski, and Kristen Stewart among others . On the second floor, Variety will host its portrait studio with Shutterstock andFandango will be interviewing select actors as part of its Movie3Some series. Both Dockers and Woolrich will be offering guests of the studio their newest items this season in a luxury lounge setting.

EcoLuxe Lounge:

Saturday and Sunday January 23rd and 24th, 12 - 6pm

Partnering with EMC Bowery this time around, the EcoLuxe Lounge brings the best eco-friendly products to the forefront.

The event will feature the best of feline film, including the debut of a virtual reality experience through the eyes of a cat. As part of the Fresh Step Million Meow Mission, this heart-warming experience may help more shelter cats find forever homes. If the world could see how much adoption means from a cat’s point of view, shelters would be empty.
