The Music Lounge - Slays The First Weekend at Coachella by Bringing Las Vegas to the Desert
The city of Angels relocated to Palm Springs this weekend for an incredible weekend of music, friends turned family, and needless to say a memorable time and one for the books. Sure Coachella, a 3-day music festival in Indio, had the crowd hyped with incredible DJ sets, performances and surprise guests the real party was in Palm Springs. No ticket to the festival, no problem - a few brands came together to throw some mind-blowing invite-only bashes. Poolside, beverages, musical performances and more had attendees saying, 'Coachella Who'. Taking place at the elegant boutique Ingleside Inn hotel in the heart of Palm Springs and paying homage to party city Las Vegas was 'What Happens Here Stays Here' (WHHSH) party. The Music Lounge, produced by BMF Media, witnessed the unveiling of #WHHSH Beer, an exclusive Las Vegas product and enjoyed highly curated Las Vegas experiences coming to Palm Springs for this weekend only, which featured VIP performances and top-tier celebrity appearances.
The event captured the energy and excitement that is exactly Las Vegas, (take a look HERE for the top 100 things to eat, see, and drink while in Sin City.) Guests at the event loved the WHHSH Beer on site that is crafted locally in Las Vegas by Tenaya Creek Brewery. The pale ale is packed with hints of citrus and pine and creates a cool, clean finish - which was done perfectly. The brew is only available at LAs Vegas sponsored events. “As the first endeavor to incorporate products into the WHHSH campaign, we wanted to make something fitting for Las Vegas and, most importantly, we wanted to convey what the Las Vegas brand stands for,” said Arnie DiGeorge, executive creative director at R&R Partners, the LVCVA’s integrated marketing agency of record. “What Happens Here, Stays Here has always been about the freedom to be and do in Vegas what you can't at home. We felt that #WHHSH Beer is the perfect embodiment of that and a reminder of what awaits when you embrace the Vegas lifestyle.”
Diadora, an Italian shoe brand showered VIPs in neon sneakers. The motto over the weekend #MakeItBright and sending attendees who were going to the fest in neon shoes which were sure to turn heads! Diadora showcased their Coachella favorite B.Elite W Florida, which featured full-grain leather, covered with a palm tree pattern - true Coachella style. Related Garments, known for their matching under garments and socks, gifted VIPs for the weekend! V-Moda showcased their luxury high-performance headphones.
With social media and virtual reality increasing party goers were able to be the first to try a new app called "Vegas VR” at The Music Lounge. Vegas VR took viewers through virtual experiences like a gondola ride at The Venetian or a helicopter ride over the Vegas Strip.
Guests cooled down by beverages from High Brew Coffee, water from Essentia, or cocktails by Absolut mixed by ARIA Resort & Casino’s acclaimed mixologist, luxe beauty and spa services from The Spa at The LINQ and Green Valley Ranch, Resort, Casino & Spa. Guests were able to pick up Batiste's dry shampoo, and try temporary hair coloring services by Splat Hair, and adding some true Coachella flair by Flower Children Only who created custom-made flower crowns.
Attendees included: Kellan Lutz, Kat Graham, Diana Madison, Amber Rose,DNCE, G-Eazy, Balthazar Getty, DJ Equal and enjoyed an exclusive DJ set by Joe Jonas and his band DNCE, live art by Zappos resident artist and so much more.
Merging 2000 influencers under one roof and bringing Las Vegas excitement to Palm Springs, The Music Lounge celebrated the unveiling of the destination’s craft brew with performances by chart-topping artists, delicious culinary offerings from top Vegas’ eateries, beauty services from the leading glam squads of the Strip, surprise celebrity guests and was definitely one for the books.
