A true storyteller is more than writing 'fluff,' it's about getting down the the parts unseen, the information that many do not want to discuss, yet it's more than a story, it's the foundation that the world we know has been built upon. History is not always the greatest, but it sheds light on these pressing issues that we are told to 'turn away' from. Underground is WGN America original that doesn't follow the 'norm,' it sheds light on the unremitting struggle for freedom. Thanks to The Blackhouse Foundation, an Institute Associate of the Sundance Film Festival, attendees were able to gain insight about this critically acclaimed series.
